Spotlight Webcast: How Shrinking State Budgets are Affecting Low-Income Families

As low-income families continue to struggle to make ends meet, state governments are making drastic budget cuts to education, healthcare and other vital social services. The latest Spotlight webcast examines current state fiscal policies in North Carolina and Massachusetts and presents ways for other state governments to mitigate the impact of the recession on low-income families. The webcast also examines the effect of federal fiscal relief and other American Recovery and Reinvestment Act provisions intended to offset state budget cuts.
